Smash Book Workshop
DON’T JUST SCRAP IT...SMASH IT!

9th July ~ Saturday
10 - 4
£45 - all materials provided included an A5 journal
Tutor is Holly Mure

Scrapbooking is a nice way to collect memorabilia in an album and lay it out creatively with craft accessories. However, organise your photos, tickets and keepsakes with an artistic modern twist, then Smash books are the answer.

Smashbooks can be for a wide variety of themes from holidays to weddings, new arrivals and special events. Whether it’s focussed around your family, pets or hobbies, your personalised smash book will keep your memories and mementos stored in an attractive album that can be put on a coffee table or book shelf, available for anytime viewing. They also make charming and thoughtful gifts for family and friends.

This session will get you started on your own Smash book which you can complete at your own leisure. You’ll need to have a theme in mind and bring with you relevant photos, plus any keepsakes (such as tickets, leaflets, notebook text) from the events you’d like to journal.

At the class you will learn about formatting page lay-outs and decorating your album. Discover colours, shapes and patterns that coordinate with your Smashbook theme. Most of all to enjoy crafting with your keepsakes and making something wonderful out of your photos and memories that can be enjoyed in years to come.

For some ideas and examples of Smash books please see
